The Joy of Love Project Day 1

So, in the last month or so, I've become addicted to reading blogs.  I've tinkered with the idea of starting one of my own, but then what would I blog about??  In the meantime, we purchased a new camera to indulge my interest in photography..and, WOW, do I have a lot to learn!  So, I signed up for The Joy of Love project, in which we are given a daily photo assignment to post.  So, I get to learn more about my new camera, be inspired to take better photos, AND have something to blog about.  Win-Win...Win.  :)  So, my blogging for now will be about this project, but I'm sure I'll branch out..eventually.

Today's assignment: "What they do".  (The subject of the whole project is someone you love: kids, pets, spouses, etc...and it doesn't have to be the same person/pet each day)  So, I'm starting with Aiden ( of course), because Len is out of town for work, and the dogs are rarely still enough for photos, so he was an obvious choice (although he's rarely still anymore either).  What does Aiden do?  Well, lately he plays..a lot, and he crawls..fast!  The problem is that he's a ham.  Getting a good shot of him playing is tricky...as soon as he sees the camera, he drops what he's doing and heads right toward it.  So, getting candid shots is a challenge.  Here goes:

Here we have our favorite red bird.  This is ALWAYS the first toy he grabs and he will hold onto to it throughout his whole playtime.  My husband calls it Angry Bird.  Those of you who suffer from "Angry Birds" addiction will get that..but that's a whole different blog.  Oh, and this shot is from my old camera (it hasn't been outcast quite yet..)

This shot is of him..oops, he spotted the camera.  So, this is him crawling/posing. :)

So, there it is. Day 1.  What Aiden does.  Stay tuned for Day 2...
